At Farmer & Sailor, we are two friends brought together by a shared passion for interior design and the belief that every home should tell a story. We love uncovering unique pieces - especially those with history and character - and blending them seamlessly with new finds to create spaces that feel both timeless and lived-in.
Heather has a sharp eye for sourcing one-of-a-kind treasures and brings her creative touch through photography, capturing the beauty in every detail. Tina thrives on connecting with clients, discovering what they love most, and shaping their homes into spaces they can be proud of… reflecting not just style, but personal stories.

Meet Farmer & Sailor

I’m Tina, the Farmer half of Farmer & Sailor. While Heather feels most alive exploring the world, I’m happiest right here at home. I spend winters in Muskoka and summers at my cabin by the lake. I do travel once or twice a year, but only for a week or two before I’m ready to return to my cozy couch, my dog Henry, and the latest design shows.
Design has always been my passion. I love the thrill of mixing old with new. A shiny modern piece beside a well-loved antique, a repurposed find given new life, or a treasure that tells a story all on its own. I get just as excited wandering through a boutique shop as I do strolling through an antique market, always looking for that next spark of inspiration. My friends laugh because even when we go to the spa, I spend most of my time admiring the architecture and analyzing the design choices. They ask, “Do you ever go anywhere without turning it into a design project?” The answer is no, and honestly, I wouldn’t want it any other way.
What I love most is sharing. Whether it is revealing a new renovation, bringing a fixer-upper back to life, or simply showing family and friends a piece that made my heart skip, I find joy in letting others see spaces the way I do. At my core, I’m kind and honest, devoted to the people I love, and maybe a little too enthusiastic about furniture shopping. But that’s me, a collector, a storyteller, and someone who believes every home has the potential to become something truly special.

I’m Heather-the Sailor of our dynamic duo. I’m passionate about being in nature, photography, travel, wildlife, thoughtful design, and finding hidden gems in unique and interesting places. I love blending the old with the new- mixing timeless pieces with modern touches to create spaces that feel lived in, soulful, and full of character. Comfort and sustainability are always at the heart of what we do, designing with intention, using what we have, and choosing pieces that are as kind to the earth as they are beautiful.
